I must be losing it here, just finished (for today anyhow:) ) a trigger job and after assembly noticed the trigger plunger was not centered on the trigger.

Took it back out thinking it was the spring, stuck a TG pin into the hole and it still stuck out on an odd angle. Never noticed before.

Any chance this is offset to make up for too much finger for you right handers?

Just wondering, and thanks for helping a new guy......

I did trigger job on one that was way way off center....and it does make a differance on trigger pull

Yup every one made will be like that .thinking it has something to do with the way the hole is put in the trigger group during manufacture.

They drill the hole at an angle so the drill tooling can reach the spot despite the trigger guard. A shortcut.

This^^^

Otherwise, they would need to blow a hole into the front of the trigger guard to get a drill in to cut the hole.

Pretty normal production compromise.

Cheers
