10/22 trigger slack

Good one - now i'm hoping they do as my stock, almost new(500 rds) 10/22 does the same thing with every brand of ammo I've tried

how many round have you put through it? i've heard that they need 500 rounds of HV ammo to break in.

They vary for sure but as long as you completly disassemble the gun, and I mean completly right down to the bolt into pieces and clean it totally in solvent, I use brake clean. Then lube properly as you reassemble it they can be very reliable right out of the box. And of course clean the bore, I use brake clean for initial cleanings but make sure the barrel is not in the stock if you use the brake clean. DO NOT GET BRAKE CLEAN ON ANYTHING OTHER THAN BARE METAL, DO NOT LET IT TOUCH ANYTHING PLASTIC OR WOOD!!!!!!
