I'm wondering... What can I do to improve the 10/22 trigger? I've seen the sticky at the top... but I'm looking to go abit further than just polishing, exct.

I like the idea of the drop-in trigger groups... Not a fan of the new plastic factory trigger group.. BUT, What is available in canada? With all these US export restrictions, I'm not sure what I can get my hands on! Which aftermarket unit is the best bang for my buck?
 
Go to the HawktechArms website and get yourself a target hammer (either Volquartsen or Power Custom).

They have very good prices, a (FRAUD ALERT) checkout and fast &, most of all, free shipping on all the items to US/Canada (except for barrels). I've ordered from these guys twice now and did not have any issues... they even 'take care' of the customs declaration for you.

Anywho, I bought a Volquartsen target hammer kit (hammer, washers + 2 new springs) for $33.95 USD and the trigger pull is so smooth right now that it's almost too light, lol.. all you need to do is put your finger on the trigger and apply a tiny bit of pressure to release. I haven't tested it at the range yet, but it should be fun as hell with the 25-round Butler Creek mags.

P.S. I haven't polished anything on my trigger group, the new hammer has taken care of everything. It's like an entire trigger job in one single tiny package. :)
 
Do your own using your stock parts. Lots of info @ rimfirecentral.com and PM me your e-mail and I'll send you the stuff on making your hammer and sear adjustable. Perfect 2# trigger with just a little labour. You need a propane torch, drill or preferably drill press and a couple of small setscrews and taps to fit them and you can easily do your own. Then do the trigger plunger/ torsion spring swap and you will have the best trigger in town.

I polished everything using the methods in this forum. I added a Power Custom hammer and adjustable sear. Very little creep, and nice easy 2 pound pull.

If you over adjust the set screw, it just wont fire, so keep moving it until you find that "happy" place.
