10/22 Upgrades

I just got a Ruger 10/22 Carbine and I was wondering what are some upgrades I could make? Are there any accessories that work well? Who would I talk to in Alberta?

actually with all the upgrades available,you could very well end up with a stock ruger carbine in your cabinet, as well as the one you just built.
