Bought this new probably 10 or 12 years ago and never got around to shooting it, in perfect condition except for a safe kiss on the barell top where a piece of camp is chipped. I would like to put it up on the EE bought I have no idea of its value. A Bushnell scope sits on it.
I would appreciate any help on its worth but please no offers by pm until I actually list it.
Thank you very much in advance
Dave

The guns lists new at Cableas for $499. Not sure of the scope class but if it was one of the basic ones that are sold with the 10/22 packages to replace a basic Bushnell scope and mounts probe worth $250-300 new

I recently purchased a like new 1022 takedown with magpul stock and a decent red dot mounted for $700 shipped, and was reasonably happy with the purchase , so IMHO as a used package in perfect condition. You could prob ask $6-700 if not in a hurry to sell and settle for less if you want a faster sale.

Thank-you for the reply, I guess I really am out of touch with .22 prices, I'm surprised it's worth that much. I won't be in a rush to sell as I still haven't decided which new gun I would like yet, the buy/sell cycle continues haha.

^ $700 sounds a bit high to me. Its not a takedown, it doesn't have a magpul stock, and the optic likely holds little value - it looks like one you'd get in a package on a rifle, and those are worth like $50. More like $500 IMO, seen quite a few used 10/22s w/o scope in the $400-450 range in recent months. Adjust accordingly if the scope actually has any value to it.

I always try to be fair in my pricing as I believe both parties should walk away happy. Thank you for your honest opinion, that is what I am after.

Thats a great outlook and evident with your awesome trader rating. Im sure someone will be very happy to own and use your rifle. Cheers Chris

As someone that enjoys 10/22s, knowing this retails for 450 at Cabela's or 399 at other retail stores that normally keep stock, I would not want to shell out more than 550 for it, I have seen similar camo rifles without the scope sell for anywhere between 350-400. The package scopes are generally nothing to brag about regardless of brand, but they will function just fine in most cases.

I would assume OP should be very fair asking 500 for it, it would attract most buyers but will also give him some wiggle room to drop the price at a later time if he chooses to.

I usually price things shipped and fully insured with the price being firm as I am the worlds worst bargainer, I fall for every sob story out there so I try to play to my strengths.
I've decided on a price which I will stick to but I'm not arrogant enough that I won't lower it sometime in the future if it doesn't sell or just decide to put it away until I notice it again sitting in a safe.

the price on used 10/22s can be all over the map. they tend to sell for 350. -$400. without scope in my area. the older ones with wood stocks sell faster.
