just put this together today. 16'dlask barrel, forest camo explorer stock, vq extractor, tuffer buffer, 3-9x32 bushnell rimfire scope, leupold std base and rings.
built it to keep it simple. i could use better glass but that will come (leupold). the bolt will be replaced with a kid bolt in the near future.
strangely enough when i mounted the scope myself, it was almost dead on. once dialed in, it will put 10shots inside a loonie at 50yrds if you do your part from the bench. at 100yrds, it will put 5 shot groups inside a sight in diamond, holding the crosshairs 6inches high. the ammo was winchester high velocity bulk.
im very impressed with this barrel. heavy, but worth it. i kind of regret not getting a longer one, but that would make it way too heavy for bush carry.
sorry about the brutal picture and grammar! let me know what you think.

Looks great. I have the same scope, and I am very happy with it. Hopefully you enjoyed the first build; now the addiction begins....

Nice rifle Dan. I bought the same scope for mine but havent sighted it in yet. I handled a 10/22 target tactical at a local shop and found it balanced nicely with the 16" heavy barrel, compared to my sporter. I have a feeling there is more accuracy there, but a loonie size group at 50 yds. is pretty good!
