10/22 Williams peep sight + pic rail

Thought I would share a quick an easy project I completed this morning.

Problem:

I love my Williams peep sight, my wife and others that shoot this rifle prefer the TRS25. When ever I want to shoot it I have to remove a rail and install the peep sight.

Solution:

Bought a $10 UTG rail on amazon and cut it down, peep sight works perfectly with the rail mounted. Just need to find a low profile QD mount so I don’t have to rezero the TRS25 every time I swap.

That is a cool set up. I've got a 50th anniversary which has the same idea with the integral peep sight in the rail. Just make sure to be careful with solvents in the receiver, those screws def are going to need loc tite to hang on. Id assume you are also running a poly buffer of some kind? Will help soak up and vibration and help keep all the screws tight.

Yep running a poly buffer and blue loctite on all receiver screws.
