I'm looking into getting the ol lady her first gun, i've picked out a 10 22 as her first since it was my first a few decades ago and it's still as good as it was when I first got it. I love the ruger 10/22's so that's the brand no question.
The question I have is what do people think of those Wood stocks with the thumb holes that have the woodgrain color patterns and such, think they are called 'revolution' or something along those lines.
Here is a picture of one;
Do they wear out fast? Any problems or any good reviews from any owners?
I'm trying to get the most comfortable stock for her to shoot with so she won't be put off on the start and will get deeper into guns. Which in turn means she'll more than likely buy ME more guns
win win!
Thanks!
