10.5 inches 300 blackout barrel

Hi Ryan,

A while back, you mentioned that you would soon receive 10 or 10.5 inches NEA barrel in 300 blackout caliber. I also saw that NEA was talking about it on their facebook, but nothing since them.

I just purchased several parts for my AR build, and the barrel is one of the critical parts missing, and I've been waiting for the 10.5in barrel, because I find that the 7.5 is too short and the 12.5 too long for my taste, so the 10.5 would be perfect for my project.

Do you have an ETA for this barrel, or this project has been abandoned by NEA, and I need to find something else?

I think they are making the 9" ones on the next batch. We'll also be releasing the mini cans without baffles shortly as well.

A 9'' would be a really nice compromise.

Will the mini cans create the back pressure needed to cycle subsonic rounds effectively? any idea of the price and the look of it?

Any ETA on both of these products?
 
Not yet. They have been pretty busy and haven't done the 9" ones yet. I reminded them a few weeks ago I'd like to see them soon.

Hi Ryan any update on the 10.5" and mini cans in 300 BO ? I have some money just begging to be spent :).
 
Just heard back from NEA,
"We do plan on coming out with probably a 9.5", unfortunately it's not at the top of the list of projects. Keep tabs on the facebook page though, as this is where the newest information is released."
