10 AR/M4 GEN M3 PMAG Released Today

As the title says, the Magpul 10 AR/M4 GEN M3 PMAG was released today. What are peoples thoughts? can these be imported to Canada? I am aware the LAR-15 magazines are designated as "pistol" magazines, is that a manufacturer designation or an importer (as this will relate to how we Canadians can import/legally own the magpul 10rd mags)?

By the looks of things down south, these will probably be the only Pmags we will be able to get up here for a while since all the 30 rounders will be sold before they even cool off after molding.
 
I haven't been watching this. How long have they been in announced development?

Almost seems like this is a item they had on mothballs for that JIC moment. Now that a AWB might be on the horizion they launch the newest mag that Americans wouldn't buy under normal circumstances.

Again haven't been watching this develop so total speculation on my behalf.
 
They are designed and marketted on the website as rifle mags. Given that they were designed initially as rifle mags, they will have to be pinned to 5 here. The LAR15 mags are made and designed as pistol mags. That is why they are legal as 10 rounders here.
 
I guess magpul is concentrating on the production of black PMAGS right now to quell the masses. I would imagine except for orders already placed it will be a while before we'll see new gen PMAGS here in Canada.
 
Those 5-rounders would sell decently here. I've never been a fan of the 5/30's. In the Mossberg MVP bolt action that takes AR mags, these P-Mags would be great.
 
Magpul is making mad sales right now, so they probably don't care how they market these mags now.

Once things are back to normal, they'd be wise to market them as pistol mags, then they'd pretty much be The Mag up here.

Yes Blaxsun, I know about the Beo mags.

Meanwhile, maybe this is a sign. With the possibility that there might be new gun control down south with 10 round limits.
Perhaps this is magpul getting ahead of the game to prepare for this.

This unit might be The Mag down there next year.
 
It would be great if they would throw us a bone here. and put pistol on it. I dont think there is a single Pmag left in Canada for sale. I have not been able to find any anyways.
 
The 10 rounders are for Cali.

Of course after the New AWB. These will be the only thing the entire U.S can buy. So we will never see them.,

Yeah, I took the day off from CGN... glad you could fill in for me. :D
I personally like the new 20-rounders with the curve; the 10-rounders would be great for bench shooting. Of course, we'll probably have to wait 6-12 months to even find some for retail at the rate they're being sucked up...
 
Guys instead of accepting the fate, get out there and start debating, YouTube vids would help, donate to the NRA, NFA, CSSA, GOA, debate and explain the differences with people that are rational and explain how the protectionist mindset is stupid...avoid the mob mentality people they won't be reasoned with anyways especially if there Obama phone is on the line...

Trying to have any kind of discussion with highly erratic and emotionally unstable individuals is a losing proposition. Best thing to do is not respond.
