10 gauge Muzzleloading Shotgun

Anyone willing to share muzzleloader 10 gauge BP birdshot/buckshot loads?
I'm using Goex powder right now.

Cheers!

Hi there, that blunderbuss will be fun, as far as loads 90_100gr of 2f or even f grade black powder , then a 10 gauge stiff card wad, the a cushion cork or fiber wad, then another nitro card, then shot of choicel then your overshot card wad,Then primer the pan with 3f, i have aq loyalist fusil de chasse 20 gauge flint long gun,, i love it, the lock f,lashed and fires rather quickly , frizzens on the loyalist guns are very hard, and last a long while, try a 10 gauge patched lead ball, lol, or a load of 000 buck shot,

I've been fooling around with "buckshot" loads for my Navy Arms 12 ga SxS and have found that 3 .454 dia lead round balls make a deadly load out to 30 yds. I'm going to try 4 .440 balls.

Is your 10 ga a modern "traditional" style gun, a modern inline or an oldie?

Some friends of mine with modern inlines are using 2 oz of shot for turkeys.

A nice light load for a 10 ga is 100 grs FFg with 1 1/4 oz of shot.
