Parkhurst is one of the brand names used on some of the Belgian shotguns sold in vast numbers a hundred odd years ago. I suppose the hope was that customers would confuse the name with Parker.

Yes, I think you correct. Finding any kind of antique coach gun is extremely hard in the USA. Especially a BP hinge action in this gauge.
More often then not, they are seen on auction websites and start at very high opening bids.

Any idea of what the chamber length is ?

No real idea, but this is not too much a concern for me. Because my 2 7/8s hulls could be trimmed down to 2 5/8s if this needs to be done.
Bore condition was more of a factor to myself.
