10 gauge ?

Year's ago I shot a 10g transport over under 10g for geese so I thought I needed a 10g for turkeys .I had a 10g H&R single shot with rifled sites wielded in it .worked great but she kicked like a mule.lol

I love mine. I have two golds, one sp-10 and one ithaca mag -10 remaining and they will die with me
It is good for geese and coyotes here
I reload both lead buck shot and steel RSI loads for them
Federal hulls are my favorite then remington. I don't waste my time reloading winchester hulls in 10ga
Years ago I did bismuth for them also but don't need it anymore with the high speed steel
Cheers

I had a browning I believe it was the sp-10 ...correct me if I’m Wrong......but that thing was just awsome ........ducks and geese and turkey it was no problem out to 75 yards ....I use to laugh at my friends we go hunting ducks or geese ....I still laugh to this day ....we be 3 or 4 set up them with the 12 guagues ahh faaaack I’m laughing my head off reliving the store ......
So geese come in and ..1.2.3 go boom boom boom they shoot get a couple 3..4.. I would jump up out of coffin blind and say watch this .....3 shots 3..4 geese.....laught my flipping ass off ....and they would look at me like wtf just happened .....and some times managed a 4th shot on one !!!!...
It got to the point they did not ask me to come anymore ........
That 10 guage god dame I miss it .....to this day I don’t know why I sold it ....
I’ll tell you this .....the pay load it would deliver was just amazing
Ahh Christ some of the shots I took with it at distances and the results ...mind blowing!!!
And now with my beretta 3.5.......it’s not the same
I salute the 10 guage ....just f%#king awsome!!!!!!!!
I know where it is I go by and look at it and stare at it !!!....and ponder should I buy it back or not!!!

If I remember rightly ,the Remington SP10 was the old Ithaca 10 gauge self loader, that Remington bought the rights to from Ithaca ,when it was going through one of its going out of business times.

I had an SP-10 that I wish I never sold. It was like new and worked great for geese and turkeys and coyotes.
The problem with the 10ga today is trying to find ammo for it. I reloaded my own but even wads are getting rare.

Lots of wads still being made just that one has to order them in I find
Cheers

I still have my sxs left. Sold my single and i regret it. Id like to get a wood and blued browning gold or bps medallion. I know camo would be better suited for a hunting gun but i love wood and steel.

Nothing wrong with loving wood and steel
I have only ever seen one in wood and it was spank's pic
I remember waiting for mine when they first came out and he had just the black stalkers come in followed by camo some time after
Cheers

I'm willing to bet that your hunting party didn't stop asking you to come because of your 10 gauge.

I have a browning BPS in 10 gauge. Love shooting clays with it. I have been looking for a single shot 10 gauge and some buckshot for the 10 gauge for a while now, anyone have suggestions? Bird and slugs is all I can find.
