Does anybody out there know where to buy a 10 inch AR upper in Canada

I've been looking for the same thing, everyone is sold out, and due to US export laws, we may not have anything under a 16inch barrel sent to us for awhile.

So buy a 16 inch one... take it to a gunsmith and have it cut down crowned and rethreaded... The gas system & taper pins will need to be relocated but these aren't beyond a good gunsmith...

We've been told that the owner is having a legal issue with the website. Tacshot is closed until this is resolved.

It's probably just a dispute with another company over the name.

If you get a carbine length 16" barrel you could cut it down to the length you want and not have to worry about the gas port. I would contact Walter at Arms east he offers custom barrel lengths and I believe he has a shipment from Stag Arms arriving any day now.

That is a load of hooey. The gas port is larger on a 10.5 than it is on a 16" or 14.5".

Why don't you check out www.albertatacticalrifle.com. There are two 11.5" Colt uppers with DPMS 1:9 twist barrels running Smith Ent breaks. Since our dollar went for SH!T, parts have become more expensive. Check them out.
