Winchester Super X 175 gr. hollow points are the heaviest you'll find. Around 700 ft/lbs. I've bought them from P&D. I had a permit for a Delta Elite, 25 years ago.
My ex-brother in law has a carry permit, and he's a professional photographer. It's valid in a huge area, not just up north. He has a Glock 20. The new permits allow more than one firearm, so I'm told.
