10 Round magazines for 1911

Does anyone have experience running the CHIP McCORMACK 10 round magazines thru their 1911s?

I have a Taurus PT1911 and want to order the 10 rounder from Brownells, but just wondering if anyone has some personal experience with them.

OR if anyone can recommend a brand that i'd be able to find locally.

MECGAR mags available via MARstar have always been good to me. 35 bucks IIRC.

I have 2 Chip 10 round mags, and 6 Chip 8 round mags. All of them have worked flawlessly through about 1k rounds so far.

for the price of mecgar you can get tripp research... just FYI

chip mccormick are a pain, if you have any kind of magwell you will probably run into an issue

Right on the money. Tripp Research are great, had a follower jump out of the mag tube and lodge itself in my firearm rendering it totally inoperable while on my BB course. Otherwise, they have been great.

I prefer Wilsons for the polymer follower.

Love all my Chips They have always fed great. Problems falling free in my norc 1911 but thats most mags cause its got some wear areas i havent buffed.
