Has anyone modified a CZ 858 AR15 Magwell Adapter to fit the SKS (or modified the SKS to fit the magwell adapter)? I know the adapter is worth as much as the SKS even before the time/machining and mags, but I can't be the only one to thing of this...

No, but someone has modified the SKS receiver and bolt to take the XCR-L mag and cycle the rounds reliably. Check out http://www.canadiangunnutz.com/forum/showthread.php?764971-A-Way-to-Get-10-Rounds-in-SKS-Legally and ignore all the Fudd flaming. Through his youtube videos, md shows what needs to be done to make it fit, load with strippers and have the bolt hold-open work.

Thanks! I've been watching that thread... Reading it all at once makes my head hurt!

I'm preparing a detailed howto, with a legal disclaimer to satisfy the Fudd crowd, but who knows how long it's gonna take, especially with me throwing out my back. So far, I've modified the receiver so the mag will actually go in there with enough room for the rounds to cycle with finger pressure. I might get to the bolt hold-open today if the back lets me move around/stand long enough. It will be the entire thing in a single post (or 2 posts, max). If you can't wait and it can take a couple of weeks easy, read through the thread and just read md's posts without the other flak.

I don't think I would want risk anybody getting hurt or killed by adding a few extra rounds to a perfectly working rifle. Just crazy.

Given enough time a competent machinist or a skilled hobbyist with the right tools would be able to do this job safely.

You have know clue how guns work do you. Taking material off the recever wont hurt anything. why do you bother getting out of bed.
so many clueless tards on this site.

every post you make is just flamming people and there awsome LEGAL ideas. no one likes you you should be banned and all the other ####s like you. your the people that ruin the gun community.

lol the other thread on this topic has been closed. people that use there heads to progress fire arms by modding them LEGALLY and that make cool parts for guns are heros to the community. the flammers take it back

that's pretty lame that the thread got closed..

Your personal attacks and name calling are a little harsh. You are over doing it a little bit. Seriously though you punched me in the feelings. It hurt a lot.

and yet you keep posting in a thread(s) you CLEARLY..... (or should by now be clear) know you will get flamed for by posting the same thing over and over.

Thanks!

I guess I needed to mention I'm not looking for opinions (you know who you are).

Inspected for what exactly? What safety issue? There are zero modifications to the chamber/barrel or bolt.
I do not think you understand the operation of a rifle/handgun, etc.
Go away.....

Too bad I didn't get to post this in the other thread.
