$100 DIY case annealer

Hi guys.
I stumbled across plans for skips case annealer and I thought it would be a fun project. So far I've built the case and got it up and running. All I need now is my buddy to fab me up a torch holder. Here is a video showing it feeding. I have about $100 invested and I have enough left over material to build a second one, all I would need to order is the electric motors, controllers and power supply, which was I think about $65 in total.

Thanks. There's plans on the internet. Just google skips case annealer. And the link that pops up with the molonlabe forum has a post with the plans in google documents. It's a pretty easy build, took me 4-5 hours from start to where I'm at now, and I used some fairly rudimentary tools.

That looks like a nice machine too. Looks a little more involved for the basic DIY guy. Do you set your flame with a decibel meter or do you measure the length of the blue flame?

The inner blue flame just touching. The tempilaq is the important factor.

Built out of odds and ends and scrap lying around the shop.

Use your tempilaq...different brass takes the heat differently. You may have to adjust for each manufacturer.
