I'll be honest, I saw your group and thought, meh whatever.

Then I saw you're in the rimfire forum.

Great shooting!!:D
Wish I could do that with my cf more often.

Nice target, I haven't had good luck with that ammo at 100 yds but it all depends on what your rifle likes. Here's one of my best from last year at 100 metres shooting in dead calm conditions.

Here's a pic from the day the target was shot.

Now that rifle is wearing a Leupold Competition 45X scope, a McMillan BR50 stock and is now dedicated to 50 yard benchrest shooting from a one piece rest. Also has a Hoehn tuner on the barrel.

Next step is to upgrade your ammo from CCI SV to match grade. It's usually worth the extra $$ in the chase to superior accuracy. I used to have a Match 54 that outshot a Tikka T3 Varmint in 223 with factory loads I also had. Frustrated me to no end!

im always up for a friendly competition. BTW that was shot prone with a Bipod and a rear bag

Shooting from a bipod and bag is just about all I do. I really enjoy scaring the big boys if the conditions are right !
These were all shot off bipod and bag at 100m

Remington 40X in HS Precision prone stock - 36X Leupold.
Top was shot with Lapua Pistol Trainer (now discontinued)
Bottom was shot with various as shown

Clayne, that is a spectacular group considering it was shot off a bipod and with relatively 'poor' ammo.

Those 40 x groups are as good as it gets, rimfires simply don't shoot any better than that period.

Nice rigs and nice shooting guys.
