Here are a couple groups I shot out of my Valmet Finnish lion the other day. No exceptional groups, and no real bad groups either.

These are ALL the groups I shot. I am not leaving out any of the bad ones.

Here are my first batch of groups. I shot them for Rimfire centrals funshoot. The first group is a sighter group The first one was preatty bad but the last 2 groups weren't too bad. I rough measured the average of the three groups to about 1.038" with my 30 year old caliper which is accurate to about .1 :D

All groups shot at 100 meters

Next, I shot a couple more groups. The first one is 8 shots and the second one is 9 shots. I didn't really pay attension to how many shots I had taken (I am shooting single shot), I just shot until I stopped :D.

Measures about .9CTC

And lastly, I finished off by shooting the match I run here on Canadian gun nutz. I was finding that even thorough my 24 power leupold, seeing the .22 caliber bullets in the black was very hard, so I accidently shot 6 shots at 1 target, so I shot 4 at the next so that everything was fair.

163-1x out of possible 200-20x

Overall, a preatty good day at the range, although something did have to go wrong. I brough my 10/22 but forgot to bring the clip so couldn't shoot it :shakehead :D. Although, I did manage to single load 4 shots and shoot them at 100 yards, but It takes too long ;)

Very nice....do you have sights for your valmet? Where did you get it, got more pics? Looks to be in real nice shape. What were you using for a rest? Nice group with your 10/22...too bad you forgo the mag. You seem to be starting an awful nice collection of rimfires.

Cheers

Thanks... :)

I have redfield sites for the Valmet. They are very high quality. I was shooting with peeps about a month ago and could consistanly group around .2-.35CTC for 5 shots at 25 yards, and was grouping around .4-.6CTC at 50 yards, with the peeps. Very good.

Our "club president" at the range sold the gun to me, well actually, my dad bought it without my permission and made me pay for it :D. But I don't mind, i am glad I bought it.

I just have a hoppes Expert front rest, although, I do wish i had a better rest. I am thinking of getting a Caldwell BR or a Cowan rest with the windage top. I have got more pictures of it, but its going to take a while for me to upload them on photobucket. After I finish I will post them :)

Turns out I alleady have some on photobucket with the peeps so here it is.
