1000-2000$, which scope?

hey guys, im gettin a 1:8 twist 6mm br make for me right now, and im going to have a decent chunk of change for a scope, just not sure what to get, i like zoom, definitely gotta have plenty of zoom, im just not sure whether i need the 1/8 clicks, versus 1/4, illuminated would be nice, i will be doing some range time, but also a lot of varmint/field time.. i had thought of a nightforce but im really not sure, what do you guys have to say?

Nightforce is an excellent choice. Br line for the 1/8 clicks.

5.5-22x56 is a nice piece. The 9-36 and 12-42 are also nice choices.

are all nightforce scopes illuminated? i think i'd forsure go 9-32x,
