The Tweedsmuir Park Rod & Gun Club in Burns Lake B.C. is hosting the 40th. annual 1000 yard benchrest shoot May 30th. and 31st. 2015. Held at the Thompson- Waldron Range.

the 6.5-47 preformed well but it was the big 50 the shook the rafters! Thank you to all those that took part in the 40th annual 1000 yard shoot. good conditions and sharpshooters produced some very good groups and scores over the weekend. the results are posted on our web site in the 1000 yard shoot section. check out our facebook page Tweedsmuir park rod and gun club for pictures and stories.

Looking at some stats from last weekends shoot!
Top 10 heavy barrel class five shot scores were from 45 to 48 points out a possible 50 points.
Top 10 unlimited class ten shot scores were from 90 to 100 points out of a possible 100 points.
Top 10 aggregate scores (heavy barrel & unlimited classes) were from 133 to 145 points out of a possible 150 points.
Top 10 heavy barrel class five shot group size were from 4.0" to 6.875"
Top 10 unlimited class ten shot group size were from 5.5" to 9.625"
