just wandering if anyone uses a 100gr bullet 270 win on deer and how did it perform, 130gr kick a bit hard for me :slap:

Remington makes a reduced recoil 115 grain load that you might want to look into

Most 100 grain bullets are designed for varmint hunting in .277" and will not be a good choice at all for deer.

If you handload you can always reduce the velocity of your load and that will cut recoil

x2 for the Remington Managed Recoil 115 gr. 270 loads for deer.
You get a bullet/load combo good out to 200 yds with ballistics
just a little stouter than the 257 Roberts ...
and we all know what a terrible deer cartridge the 25 Bob is ! :D
