100gr TTSX in 6.5x55

Hi all,

Has anyone tried this combo? What powder and charge worked best for you?

The best options I have on hand are StaBall6.5, Varget and H4350. The latter two seem to produce similar velocities with 100gr cup and core bullets, Staball6.5 not far behind.

Boat tail or flat base????

I use 51.5 grains of IMR4350, over CCI250 primers, under 95 grain Hornady V Max seated as far out as the neck will hold the bullets reliably.

Velocity is just over 3000fps out of my 22 inch bbl. Groups at 100 are sub moa over ten shots out of my rifle.

This load is safe in a Tikka T3 and shows no signs of pressure, but is to hot for Swede military type Mausers or rifles built on the M96 action types.

My load for these is 50.0 grains of IMR4350 over CCI250 primers for just around 2900fps with very good accuracy and no signs of pressure in my T3.
