Took advantage of this beautiful day and went to shoot my muzzleloader…. I really enjoy shooting this gun (CVA Wolf)… It has a really nice trigger and it really shoots so smoothly I can't believe how nice it shoots for a gun with scope package for under $300……

The first shot is off a bit (possible from an oily barrel-should have ran a patch through it after pulling it out of the safe) but you got to like shots 2, 3, 4 and 5…. Less than 1” group with 2 pellets of 777….

Looking forward to using it again this year…. :)

Question . Did you do anything in between shots ? Whats the plan to take it hunting? You cant foul it than wait a week during hunting season it would be rusted mess but does it shoot super clean ? Muzzleloader is so much different than smokeless

My plan would be to run a clean patch through it the night before, fire off a primer to burn off any excess/left over oil and then take it hunting the next morning and leave it as is for the rest of the week or until it gets fired...
That should allow it to do its job if I do mine...
