My p14, has been in my family since the 60's, my grandfather bought it, gave it to my dad, my dad gave it to me.
I put a scope on it with a non destructive mount, and started working up hand load s a few years ago.

Took it out today, at 100m this is what she printed on paper in 2, 2 round groups. ;)

I had it out to 500m but man... the hold for wind, 6 MOA. I even had to zoom out to 5x (from 10x) to change the subtention on the reticle enough that I could use the last bar on the BDC to get the hold over required! was a tough game getting hits on the gong.

They only started making them in 1916.... check your barrel for a '16 or '17.
Production began January 1916.
First deliveries May 1916.
May 1917*: close to end of production. 1.1 million P14s built. The British had over-ordered and the contracts were terminated.
