ok guys school me on the 1022 aftermarket triggers. I just got my first 1022 platform so i dont even know what my options are. Thanks

Just got a trigger back from Brimstone in the states. I had the tier 1 job done and all I can say is that I will be sending another one soon.....check em out.

I have owned just about every trigger for the 10/22 platform. None compare to a Kidd and they’re two stage is as good as custom centerfire triggers! The single stage breaks crisp and clean exactly the same every time. Nothing comes even close in my opinion but they are costly. I’ve heard great things about brimstone but never had one done by them. Anything is an improvement over factory and the trigger kits from Kidd and VQ are a huge improvement. Good luck Chris

I have a Timney Calvin elite and aside from the fact that it is probably more expensive than your rifle it is a sweet trigger. It also includes a better mag release and significant adjustability for trigger shoe shape/positioning. I don't know how it compares to anything other than a bx trigger, but it is head and shoulders above the bx.

Kidd single stage...excellent.
Brimstone Tier 2...excellent. Get at least a Tier 2 if your going to the effort to upgrade. I REALLY like the flat trigger on the Brimstone. I may try a Tier 1 in the future.
You can save yourself the hassle of sending your original trigger to Brimstone and pay $50usd to Brimstone for a new donor Ruger OEM trigger pack which they will rework, and they ship to Canada no problems.

I can't say which I like better...both are EXCELLENT.

Well okay, seeing as you asked, here is my experience, for what it is worth. Originally put a Jard in my SR-22, and when it did work right it was nice. Problem is it literally broke twice and they did send parts but I spent more time taking the gun apart and fixing the trigger and waiting for parts then I did actually shooting the gun. Finally threw the Jard in the garbage as I would not think of selling it, worst $$ ever spent. Put in a Ruger BX next and it was way better than the Jard and ran flawlessly for 2 full gopher seasons, problem was that even though the weight was okay at around 2.5 lbs it had an annoying amount of creep that drove me nuts. Got rid of it and next was a Brimstone Tier 1, zero creep, 2 lbs and zero over-travel, all for about $200 Cdn. Best of the bunch, runs perfect and a real pleasure to shoot, affordable too.

Customs are grabbing anything gun related and closely looking it over, expect a delay

Got mine 10 days after they shipped it to me 3 weeks ago. As for the Kidd trigger, I couldn't justify spending almost as much on a trigger as I did for the gun. Glad I went Brimstone, the reviews are all true.

13 days return for mine, and yes $360 plus tax plus shipping $400+ is too much.

Had the Ruger BX trigger. Great ,short clean break. How much trigger do you really need and how much can you use? Canadian stores have them and you drop them in yourself. 150 bucks, local buy, no border BS. Can remove and replace stock for sale of rifle, sell BX for full price.
