I was going to reload a new batch of 10mm, had previously worked up a nice 9.0gr load under 180gr Campro bullets. Rechecking the Hodgdon site, I was surprised to see min/max loads for Longshot at 7.0/8.2gr. Did something change or did I misread during my initial load workups? I ran loads of 8.0, 8.5, 9.0 and 9.5 gr's through my S&W610 and no over-pressure signs with each batch. I had settled on 9.0gr which gave me a nice 1350fps.

Tagged. As I think they did. Noticed something with min max difference in hornady vs hodgdon.

*edit* buddy was telling me that he checked a bunch of reloading manuals. Both Hodgdon, and Lyman list max for H110 at 23grns, now online it down to 22.

checked a few reloading manuals, Longshot max load is listed at 9.5grs in the 2001 Hodgdon manual. The other loads listed match up with current Hodgdon website. I wonder if they changed the formulation of Longshot or if they had some problems with the old max load.

Yes, I asked them about it directly. The old data is WRONG. This is something I noticed in GRT. The old 9.5grn max load produces over 45,000 PSI as it was listed. The 180 JHP load has been cut back by over a full grain.
