10th Round Hard To Load In Mag For M&P9.

Just bought the M&P 9mm range kit. Nice gun and package. Comes with 3 mags. The 10th round is quite hard to load in the mag even with the Uplula loader. It has eased up just a tad after about 500 rounds. Anyone else experience this. Any quick fixes?

Tried that luke, dih-nt help but made the spring a little softer. Tanks.

If you load your own trying seating your bullets just a little deeper, worked for me once

I had the same issue with my M&P 40. I left the mags stacked to full capacity for the first few weeks and the springs have softened up enough to load normally

Just shoot more often, your mags will soften up after a while, or if you can't I'll take them off your hands

Like these other fellas are saying you just gotta use your man muscles and force it in there. They'll loosen up after 500 rounds or so. Keep them loaded up in the safe too (not in the gun of course) it's also helped to soften mine up.

dont do that... far too easy to remove to much, and when the mags get looser with use it wont be needed/

just push harder the mags will soon get looser with use


EVERYONE has trouble getting the 10th round in all their m and ps

for the first few times anyways...

then you get super man thumbs, to replace your girly man thumbs

then after a hundred rounds or so the mags loosen up

Had Sig226 mags tighter than that... First time could fit 8, then 9 after 2 range trips, finally 10 thumb busting rounds. Sold those mags for Mec-gar mags... Best upgrade ever.

They will loosen up after a while.

You think YOU have troubles? Be glad you don't own a Glock. Many a new Glock mag loader has sworn that they messed up and sent 9 rounders....

Maybe the problem is you are trying to load a pistol with clips?

Try the magazines that came with the weapon and you should be good to go.
