Hi Marcie, I received my Savage 10TR 2 days ago and already put through its paces! I'm very happy to report no issues with this one. I was out today doing load development in 20km/hr wind and -20c....I managed to shoot a 0.533moa 5 shot groups, I cant wait to shoot it when its calm out.

In the picture I divided by 1.09...that's incorrect I should have divided by 1.145 at 100m to get moa from inches! Oups

I'm still learning about moa - I understand your calculations except the divide by 1.09 part. Is that a factor to correct for moa being not exactly 1" at 100m?

moa @ 100 yds = 1.047''
moa at 100m is 1.047x1.09=1.141
100m is 109yds give or take
group was shot at 100m
divide the number in inches by 1.09 and you get moa
moa increases in size the farther you go.....at 1000yds an moa is 10.47''

I screwed up ....you have to divide by 1.145 not 1.09 oups! Sorry for the confusion

What are you using for dies, powder and bullet there bucktomcat? I'm just getting into reloading and would appreciate to hear what you've tried so far because it's obviously working well!
