Remembrance Day - Lest we Forget.

Please take a few moments to remember the importance of this day and where ever you are, please remember to pause for a moment of remembrance at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the
eleventh month (11:00 am, 11 November), as that marks the time when the armistice became effective during the First World War.

We will be closed on Remembrance Day to remember and give thanks to those who have given so much for our Country.
The online part of our store is always open.

In Flanders Fields
John McCrae

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
that mark our place; and in the sky
the larks, still bravely singing, fly
scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
we lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and
now we lie in Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
to you from failing hands we throw
the torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
we shall not sleep, though
poppies grow in Flanders fields.
