110 FCP HS Precision 300 win deception....

i must be old school, very old school, because the size of a magazine has nothing at all to do with precision or shot placement on my rifles. My custom receivers are all single shot and if using factory actions the magazine "stuff" is sacrificed for additional bedding surface. Another advantage being bullets are loaded where they shoot the best instead of fitting the magazine. But i admit to being a wimp for only shooting stuff that can't shoot back.

lol

Seems like I could go with something like this :

But that makes it +210$ +75 +225 + shipping.....
Almost +560 I guess. Then it's not a good deal compared with the 110BA anymore... eh.
That makes the 110BA more interesting now.

I dont really consider 338 lapua because brass is hard to find/more expensive, and LEE doesnt make a standard collet die to reload, plus it only fits a classic cast press. So I would have to buy a new press, new custom dies, etc. Plus it's more expensive to shoot, and to be honest, I don't think there is anything a 300 win mag will not kill around here (largest being a moose).

I guess that if one day I really feel underpowered with a 300, I'll just get a 50 BMG and be done with the 338 argument.

Just buy the 110BA. It is a really nice rifle for the money, and I have two friends that shoot them out to a mile successfully. If you are limited by distance at your range it only seems fitting to stay 30 cal as the components are way more readily available, and a TON cheaper. The brake on the 110BA is uber efficient, the mag seems to feed reliably and the adjustable cheekpiece and Length of pull make it hard to beat in the comfort category. Ditch the "tacticool" rail sustem for an ATRS built rail and you will have an impressive rifle that is both comfortable and accurate as hell and a tad less gaudy IMO. Either way, handloading is a must, but for what you are looking for the 110Ba seems to be a more viable bet as it already has the features you are looking for for a still decent price. Just my input, but I have spent a lot of money dicking around with my rifles that I would have saved if I had just got EXACTLY what I wanted off the bat.
