my older 1100 has a different engraving pattern on the receiver than my 1993 model, when did they change the engraving

It all depends on the year and grade. Rolled scrolling was just one of the methods used some in the crown series or D and F were quite nice and done by hand. I have seen a few real nice ones over the years especially back in the 70's

The state side pricing which once again has nothing to do with the Canadian shotgun market / value

That all depends on where you sell your rare stuff which I class D & F grade 1100's as
One of these I would sell state side as any what I would class as rare shotgun
IMO this would be like selling a model 12 28ga one would have to be a pure IDIOT to try and sell it in canada or like giving his guns away for pennies
Cheers

Toto were not in Kansas . As for the lipstick on a pig comment why is it that comments like that come from guys with no trader rating oh the wright because they know nothing about fireams .

D grades list 3000ish F grades list 8000-10,000 list price is not what they have sold for also not many guys even on the U.S. side are not going to put 10 k into a rem 1100 as a investment gun many better choices than that to put 10 k into

So you are suggesting that people who don’t buy and sell a lot of shotguns on CGN don’t know anything about them ?
