....

Point to remember: no wonky threads on a Ross. They all were 60-degree V threads to US standards, even though the pitch (TPI) might be unusual.

Any machine-shop in North America should be able to make one.

Have a look @ PP114 and115 of the Ross Rifle story and go for a pinned bolt.
The threaded bolts were superseded by the pinned version as the pinned version did not need adjustment (an anathema to the military).
You will find a pinned bolt ...you will not find a threaded one.
If you do not have a copy of RRS (whilst not perfect a MUST for any Ross collector) contact Michael Leonard at ross.rifle.story@sympatico.ca or Bob McCormick at Castregd@Primus.ca .
$100 plus shipping last I looked last year.
Finally a MkIII pin can be shortened and re-cutout if memory serves (chime in here guys).
If you go to the wall I know of a pin that is broken (some DP idiot.....I have had two rebuilt in the past) that could be pressed into service but PLEASE exhaust all other avenues.
