I recently bought a Česká Zbrojovka CZ 452 Varmint and a Tula Toz-78 and it appears that these 2 guns use 11mm dovetail scope mounts instead of the standard 3/8 dovetail. I'd like to put 1-inch mount rings on these guns. Where's the best/cheapest place to find this size in Canada or is it a better idea to try to modify a 3/8 dovetail?

Check on ebay. I got 2 sets (high, low) of good steel 11mm dovetail rings for $40. They seem to be very good quality so far. I needed a set for my IZH-18 and couldnt see putting $65 millets on a $249 gun.

Probably better quality out there but for the price I think they are good rings.

Sorta like these, but the ones I got were solid steel.

I put Burris steel on my Walther , I had to swap thr front with the back , I know they are both the same , but in this case it centered the reticle. before the swap I did not have enough windage to sight the gun. Just a hint if this happens to you. It could have been the for and aft position in the slot, I did not check this as I had enough windage after the swap.

I put burris rings on my Ruger 10/22 (Zee) and they work really good. I am thinking about getting the Weaver adapters from Eric brook so i can put the Zee rings on my CZ as well. Unfortunately, IMHO, i think that the rings that fit on the weaver adapters tend to stay tighter. I may be wrong on this but it just seems that way for some odd reason.

For the cz, check out D&L airgun and get the BKL rings. I can not tell you exactly which model but if you are interested in them just go over to Rimfire Central and check out the cz forum and you will find you answer there.
