I really like my 12.5" Grizzly but I am having a problem with the rear sight set up. The four holes it came with to mount the rear ghost ring sight are way off center. With the naked eye the screw holes appear to be about a millimeter to the right. I could not get enough windage out of the factory ghost ring sight to zero it so I put a Vortex Sparc red dot on it.
This works except the red dot sits so high you can't get a good cheek weld and you have to turn it on every time you want use which makes it very slow to aim and shoot, not a good bear defense gun
. Also the optic sits so far off center that the front sight is a huge distraction because it has to be out of alignment when you aim.
Does some one make an after market rear sight that is cheap, would fit on a Grizzly, and has a lot of windage adjustment? My M14 is having the same problem and I wan to put the Sparc on that. The fancy rear sights on these Chinese guns seems to be one of their weak points.
