12.5 vs 14 ?

Anyone found a big difference between a 12.5 inch and a 14 inch replacement barrel on an 870 Express?

Any difference in muzzle blast (noise) or percussion?

Any preferences?

I do have a 14" and have shot a 12.5"
I think any difference in them is pretty negligible.
14 might have a bit more velocity, and 12.5" might have a bit more blast. Hardly noticeable though.

Have both. 12.5 inch is a Dlask, still like the 14 better, and it's a Norinco barrel....

I have 3, a 12.5, a 14 and an 18. The 14 is by far my favorite, it just feels and looks right.

Have the 14" with my HP9, love it and it feels great! YMMV... One of these days, I'm gonna try a 12" barrel.

Tried the 12.5 and the 14. 14 seems better (no fancy testing involved here) plus you can add a one shot mag extension.

I like the look of the 14 and the fact you can add a 1 rnd extension. Other than that they are pretty much the same.
