12 gauge magazine follower that works with dimples

I have a Winchester SXP Extrem Defender. I was going to put a mag tube extension on it, but do not want to drill out the mag tube dimples. Does anyone know of any followers that would possibly work with the dimples left in place?

Cut a slot on each side of your chosen follower to leave the mag tube dimples intact.

Swage the dimples out, you can make the tool out of a deep well socket. Brownells sells a swagging tool but realistically how many will you ever need to do in a lifetime, I made one and used it on my 870 and it worked well. Lots of lube and tapping the dimples from the outside with a hammer to get them flush and keep the tool from getting stuck is the key to doing it. You could try a slotted follower but the moment it rotates and the slots don’t line up with the dimples you’ll have problems loading extra shells or feeding.
