ok guys i have a very stupid question, and am actually serious, and not trying to be funny. upon going to canadian tire to buy 12G slugs for my grizzly, i noticed that they sell 12 G magnum, 3 inch slugs. now is a 12 gauge "magnum" just a name for 3inch? or is it different alltogether? will it be safe to shoot out of a DA grizzly? it says 3 inch on the barell, but....

Magnum refers to the loading; it'll be a little or a lot 'hotter' than a standard shell.

If your Grizzly is 12Ga/3" then a 3" magnum will be good to go, just as a 3" standard shell would.

I've shot those exact shells from my grizzly with no problem... a little rougher on the shoulder, but no issues otherwise.

I did however fire a few 3" high velocity 1 1/4oz steel BB loads from the grizz and found that I had some cycling problems.

yes it says 2 3/4, and 3 inch shells. so yes to magnum then?

YES & YES, 3" magnum slugs make up my grizzlys main diet, they are fun, lots of flame, lots of jump, pretty good accuracy, and they destroy whatever they hit, i use a knoxx stock to lighten the recoil..........
