12 gauge shoot shell 2.5 long

Not too many stock the Kent 2.5 inch but anyone who sells Kent shells could order them in if they want to take the time. You would likely have to order a flat though. Someone on here asked the same question about 2 weeks ago. That person then went to his Kent dealer and they ordered in shells for him.
Last summer another forum member and I split a flat and had his gunsmith order them in.

Understand but do they have a dealer up here?? or someone like Will B or other dealers that can get them in
I know I have bought primed hulls state side and paid others here to handle all the legal paper work etc and shipping to canada
It was not crazy money either considering I could not buy the components up here. I cannot see this being much different. Just have to buy enough to make it worth your while

At the time I inquired, they said they had no dealer network and had no immediate plans to do so. Whether they would send to an independent dealer if they would do the paper work I do not know. It would be easier just to buy Kent. I have tried Polywad and I think I prefer the Kent anyway.
 
Would it be possible if you could make your own 2.5" shells by shortening 2.75" shells and wads while afterwards recreating a new crimp? I used to make my own .410 2" shells by doing so with some reloading equipment and 2.5" empties I had.

Very easy. And very common to do in 3-gun circles - lets you fit an extra cartridge in a tube fed, 1 less shell to load = a few seconds shaved off your time.
 
As Guns has suggested, the problem with RST up here is not a lack of potential dealers but an unwillingness by RST to jump through the regulatory hurdles required of them to export shells to Canada.
 
Kent Gamebore Pure Gold is availiable in Canada, 12 bore 2 1/2" in either plastic or paper hulls (paper uses fibre wads) 1oz #6 or #7. Email kent Gamebore Canada, or if you're out west, European Arms Distributor in North a Vancouver has them in stock.
Not cheap, but they're quality cartridges.

Converting 2 ¾” Factory shells and loads to 2 ½”
You can modify a 2 ¾” factory load to 2 ½”, by trimming the lip off, and removing the crimped plastic. Insert a stiff overshot card over the shot then roll or bevel the hull over the card to hold it in place. I used Federal 16ga. 1 oz shells at 1165 fps, which are very plentiful around here. For a beveller I found a pipefitting ¼”mnpt by ½”fnpt which had a nice taper inside, this was placed in a 1/2” drill and used to fold the plastic hull over the overshot card. The result is a Federal 16ga. 1oz. load the fits in the 2 ½” chamber. You can also use the crimp started to crease the hull over the overshot card. I've used it on 16ga. but not reason it shouldn't work on 12 ga. Just remember too start off with a low pressure factory load which you shotgun can handle.
