The Sabot Slugs all require a rifled barrel or rifles choke tube minimum for stabilization.

Nice group and NICE slugger!!! I'm a re-born lover of slugguns myself and really can't wait to throw some heavy hunks of lead at a deer this fall.
I've recently up-graded to a Mossberg 500 20ga. My 1st time with a 20ga slugger so it'll be a "watch & shoot". With the price of slugs these days it can get pretty pricey as you've shared. I'm look'n at picking up a Lyman mould, but for now I'd like to see what the current slugs have to offer. I was told that the Rem. Copper Solid Hollowpoints were a good one?

If spending $4 to get that kind of accuracy with a slug to put a buck down-thats the cheapest part of the whole hunt.Target shooting would get expensive though
