Yes I have taken a 350 pound plus Blackie locked on to me at full speed, dumped him at about 15 ft with a 12gauge slug. A grizz no, I have a better chance of getting hit by lightning. You'd be picking yourself off the ground if spoke to me like that in person.

I apologize Pharaoh2; I took it that bit about the collar was a shunt. I only answered the thread with my own thoughts from my own experience hunting. And no I only carry my purse when i'm hunting
