12 rounds sig pro mags

I just got 4 sig pro mags from the States but I need to block tem at 10 in order to use them here. What is the best legal way to do this, knowing that it has to be "permanent" in order for it to be legal.

As pointed out you have now illegally imported a prohibited device, unless of course you just brought in mag bodies, those are parts and legal.

Probably the best bet is to rivit through the base plate and put a spacer in.....

no as you need an export lic.
you must pin them befor they come into canada

As mentioned, they were supposed to have been pinned before bringing them in and U.S. law requires the Export permit for mags over 10 rounds. You got lucky. If your vehicle had been searched by either country's Customs types(U.S. Customs has been known to do spot checks on vehicles leaving the U.S.), they would have been confiscated, lost the money you paid for them and you would likely have been charged. You shouldn't try it again.
