12 semi auto for compétition

My choice would be the Beretta 1301 Comp, although I'd wait until the improved model comes out.

I've got a 1301 Comp (gen 1) as well. The Gen 2s are out now, at least at Al's.

They'll probably be a gen3 with the shell dump fix as seen on the updated Tactical models displayed at SHOT, at some point fairly soon.

If you are on a budget...

I bought an alphaarms 15SA shotgun.

for $500 its amazing.

I ran over 200 shells through it yesterday (breakin) the only shells that caused issue were winchester handicap #7.5 shot... which is pretty light loadings. even then it only stove piped maybe 4 out of 75 shells as the "problem ammo"

It ran slugs brilliantly, buckshot without issue, and of 100 super cheap challenger HV 7.5 target load only 1 stove piped, cocked back the action, quick tilt of the gun to drop it out and i was off shooting again.

nothing rattled loose, the sights stayed zeroed (tested with slugs at 50m start and finish), it didn't bog up

I would highly recommend one of these if you want a Semi without breaking the bank. I'm not sure of the over all longevity of the shotgun, but i would be surprised if it didn't make at least a couple 3 gun seasons.

I’m running a Benelli Vinci 3-gun Speedbolt. So far so good and would recommend.

Buddy has a versamax tactical modified by Tac Ord and it’s very good.

If you want to spend a little less, the stoeger m3k is a good deal and with a little work and swapping out of some parts they’ll run well.

IMO the most important consideration will be reliability, one malfunction during a stage can ruin your whole day.

^^^ This!! Casey is the guy for this. Top notch customer service and if ever an issue comes up, he will be there to get it resolved.

Dealt with Casey in person---my wife met him at Tacom show--top tier guy-cant say enough--have his 870 and sending in Benelli m4----his work is awesome--be well
