123gr .311 Hunting projectiles

Hi all

Can anyone give me a source for 7.62x39 (.311) hunting projectiles?

I'm know 150gr projectiles are relatively common but I want a flatter shooting projectile out to 200m

No, they don't. Out of stock for a few weeks now.

I would check Higginsons for Hornady options. They may have Winchester..? I have never checked.

if you can't find them anywhere in stock I have some Hornady 123 SP and 123 SST both in 310 laying around.

Trade Ex has Woodleigh 130 grainers in stock. Spendy but excellent hunting bullets. They run .312 which should work for you.

I have been anxious to try the 130 grain woodleighs with CFEBLK. Should really wake the little cartridge up.

I have found that the CFE BLK shines with heavy bullets. Best velocity with 180 grainers bar none.
Up to 168gr it is in the same velocity range with AA1680

I have shot two whitetails with CFEBLK and PRVI round nose 123 grain bullets. Both bang flops at just short of 100 yards. I was getting 2500 fps out of a short barreled Ruger American Ranch. Great accuracy also. To quote SaskCop CFEBLK really wakes that little cartridge up!

Give Del Selin's a call at 250 545 6413, in Vernon. Fairly close. He had some a few days ago. Hornady and Sierra.

He may not be willing to only go through the hassle of shipping just one box.

This is a bad time to be looking for components.
