12G /44 Magnum Over Under

I have a friend looking for this combo, anyone ever heard of it? I tried online and didn't see much except revolver type rifles.

12 gauge and 44 mag is an odd combo - normally with 12 gauge you'll find a rifle calibre - there are 12/223, 12/308, and 12/30-06 out there, even 12/.22 LR but I haven't seen a 12/44 mag.

Have a 44mag insert barrel made , slip in slip out ! A good machinest should be able to do one with a rifle barrel as a blank .
Then there's the thing about the breech face being able to withstand a smaller surface area , a shot here and there isn't going to bother but he's going to shooting it alot its something to watch .

Chiappa makes a .44 magnum insert that fits into any break-action 12 gauge shotgun. (Wanstalls sells them.)

Buy an over-under shotgun, and stick one of these into one of the barrels.

Voila!

I 've seen Belgian Cape hammer guns in 12ga and 44-40. But it's more of a SXS than Over/under
