Hi,
What would be the value of a semi-auto Browning 12gauge Auto5, year 1924-1925??

Serial number 1793 and with a marking "D" on the barrel (yes with others typical markings from Browning), all original in good condition +

Thanks for helping.

Without a picture showing some detail I would toss a $100.00 at it .
But, with more details(pictures) the price might go up.
How much is my Red 65 Mustang worth?
Does that make sense?
Not trying to come off as a prick, but being stranded in Canmore since Wednesday night
I think I am getting a bit gnarly.

well, I think I deserve a good lolllll without chance to offense you, you are absolutely right, this post is Worth nothing without pictures....as always, I maybe will have a chance in a week to post pictures, I was just curious to see if someone has an idea at first.

this is the shotgun of one of my friend, the wood shows small wear from the time but is in really good + condition....

cheers,

Thanks for the kind words gtrussell, still no idea what road is going to open first and when.
As for the Browning and tazik no offence taken and none directed to you.
I see from your replies that you value the power of pictures and the need for them.
Your buddies gun is a low numbered gun then maybe to a collector it will add more value to it.
Myself, being a shooter of sorts the value to me would max out in the $400-$500 range.
Post pictures when you can and maybe someone will be able to help value it , but expect it to be
on the low end of the scale unless it is a truly desired collector.

$400 for maybe the 1793 out of 283000 shotguns of the first serie in 1903-4 up to 1924...,hmmmmmm...!!!!!!!... Don't think so....

Sure... I'm pretty sure your average Auto 5 owner does not really care how old the gun is, and ultimately condition reigns unless your buyer is an Auto 5 collector. The fact and truth is that a 2-3/4 Belgian Auto 5 is not worth any more than $400, and $500 being the absolute maximum. 3" Auto 5s bring in up to $700
