I purchased some 12g 1oz rifled slugs at Walmart. They are Winchester Super X 2 3/4 in rounds.
I noticed a couple of them have the slug not quite seated straight, the "hollow" point caught my eye as the "hole" is slightly off center. One slug is off enough that I can see a bit of the rifling.
I'm new to slugs and I'm not sure as to the tolerances there are between slug and barrel, if a slightly ####-eyed slug will fire fine or jam in the barrel. ( Mossberg 590 smoothbore ) Will the wad straighten it out and all my worry is for nothing?
