12g steel shot recipes

looking to start reloading my own steel shot for duck/goose hunting, just picked up some BB shot and i have tons of hulls (winchester AA, super X, remington, etc.)

You will need powder. The most useful is Aliant's "Steel". Sam 1 wads work well in 2 3/4" AA hulls with 1 oz. of shot. Lot's of info on the web. Buffer is mentioned a lot but is not necessary. Don't try for ultra high velocity. Steel BB sized shot @ 1350 fps kills well. Good luck.
