Who sells those 12ga adapter things????????????
The ones that make it so that you can shoot .38/357mag or whatever(.22) out of your 12.

I know I've seen 'em............where?

Simon,
Thanks but I want one of the short ones (2.75"?).
I know I've seen 'em............

Thanks!!! Thats what I want!!

Do you know where they are??
If they are in the U.S and A, is it a problem getting them in???

I have a 9mm and .410 adapter from Dina, they work great, although the 9mm needs a brush run through it every 5 shots or so, or else the rounds keyhole. I'd expect any pistol sized adapters would require the same treatment

Can you post photos of results with the Dana inserts?

I was really keen on them until I read that you can't hit #### with them as the inserts don't provide enough barrel to stabilize the bullets and that due to the differing chamber dimensions, the inserts wobble around in the gun so that POA never = POI twice. With shot that's not so bad, but with handgun inserts I don't see the point.

Would you say that the inserts are usable for anything? Hunting? For example, could your use your 9mm insert and smack a raccoon or something from 30 yards? Please elaborate on your experience, some of us really need some real world testimonials on these things.

Also what gun you using them in with what barrel?

I found they were fairly accurate, although I only shot paper at 7 meters.
I put some pics and specs here....

I've since taken it out and shot at 20 yards with similar results, again only shot using my DA Backpacker, and it still needs to be brushed out every 4 or 5 rounds or else the rounds start to keyhole. Im not sure how they would do in a longer barrel because of the keyholing Ive experienced with a 13" barrel. I'd be afraid to put them in my 870 with 18" barrel incase the bullet tumbled on the way down and hit the shotguns barrel.

Even keyholing the rounds hit close to the point of aim (which is a little iffy with a DA Backpackers sights anyway)

I wouldnt try and hit anything thats likely to attack you with them, since they take a while to push the casing out and pop a new bullet in, but I think you could prolly take out raccoons at 30 yards (I hit a soup can at 20)
